Servicing and Maintenance
Maintenance of Patient Lifting Equipment consists of one preventative maintenance visit including LOLER test, plus a second visit for a six monthly additional LOLER test and inspection.
All parts are covered by 12 months warranty.
Shower Chairs and Commodes
To check castors, wheels and brakes all work and lubricate, check back, arm upholstery and inspect chair frame for rust and structural defects.
Mobile Hydraulic and Electric Hoists
LOLER load test to 100% of the rated load, check castors and brakes, check for leaks on hydraulics, check battery and charger, check emergency lowering function if fitted, check leg opening device is correctly adjusted.
Ceiling Mounted Hoist or Portable Overhead
LOLER load test to 100% of the rated load, carry out a 30 point check of mechanical and electrical components with cover removed for a visual inspection, record product information.
Shower Trolley with Hydraulic Actuator
To test and operate trolley under maximum load, to check castors and brakes, to check PVC liner for leaks and tears.
Shower Trolley with Electric Actuator
To carry out all of the above checks, to test batteries and charger, to test and operate emergency lowering device.
Temperature Controlled Bath Tubs with Raising and Lowering Functions
To check temperature readings, to inspect flexible hosing, to check linear actuator operating under load.
Load Testing of Slings
Up to 200kgs/30 stones, to load test slings on site and provide an identification tag to each sling, to list all types of sling on a schedule.
