The standard range of slings have a colour coded tape to denote sling size (Red = Small, Yellow = Medium, Green = Large).
To assist people in identify the different slings types, detailed scaled drawings have been made, giving material description and dimensions.
Special slings can be tailored to suit individual's requirements or adaptations can be made to the standard range. A full set of the drawings are available for adaptation purposes.
All standard slings are compatible with spreader hooks that accommodate sling loops of 25mm. For further details refer to 'spreader bar to sling' compatibility sheet.
The fully quilted toileting sling has been improved to give greater comfort and support underneath the user's arms. The position of the chest band has also been moved to increase security.

Sling Safety
As slings are a part of the lifting equipment, they require inspection during every service interval. The forthcoming British Standards stipulates that all slings must be tested to 125% of the rated load.
Our range of slings are intended to be attached to a carry or spreader bar with a double hook arrangement at each end, with a span of 420mm / 16 inches.
It is essential that all personnel operating lifting equipment with slings, harness and straps are properly trained in their specific use.
Lift Experts cannot be held responsible for accidents incurred due to:
a) Incorrect fitment of slings
b) Misuse of slings or incorrect assessment
c) Inappropriate sling attachment points
