Background
Due to the generic design of the ceiling hoist, we have been able to produce a universal hoist manufactured from components that are common to this and the Jet Pac Portable Hoist. Consequently, we have reduced the manufacturing and servicing costs.
Taxi Design
The distinctive shape of the hoist is due to the lift motors, which are housed in each of the tubes. Both motors work together to produce a lifting capacity of up to 250kgs. The aluminium chassis design provides a very strong and lightweight frame. The Taxi and Jet Pac Portable Hoist have been designed and built to give good access for repair and maintenance. As there are no welds, all of the components can be dismantled and recycled. All Taxi Ceiling Hoists have the capability of being upgraded for future requirements, making them ideal for reinstallations.
